You know, this year's Drum Fest will please , not only drummers, by bass players, keyboard players and guitar players !

John Blackwell is bringing his band the Matrix: Bruce Bartlett,
Baron Browne and Ben Zecker !

Robby Ameen is playing with a Cuban guitar player called Octavio Kotan, and bass player Charles Flores.

Dafnis Prieto has three great Cuban players and a Montreal trumpet great, Ron DiLauro.

Nathaniel Townsley has the same great trio he had at Modern Drummer festival 2003.

Stevie Wonder's new drummer Franklin Vanderbilt will have a great bass player to show the inter-action between bass & drums.

The Bisquera Brothers band will feature Reggie Hamilton on bass, Rich Mangicaro on percussion, and other LA Star musicians.

Plus many more goodies from Keith Carlock, Magella Cormier, Akira Jimbo, Shane Gaalaas, etc etc etc.

Great program not to be missed !

    hey guys!
I'll see you there... front row center... lets meet up!

The "return" of Magella will definitly be a highlight! Really looking forward to it.

I wish that it would be DVD'd like the MD festival...

The whole thing will have been worth it just on account of the Bisquera Brothers, in my humble opinion. And what a concept: You guys notice how many drummers are playing with bands or accompaniment? Perfect. Sounds like a great festival.
