I also got a thing about a Kaman Music event w/ Al DiMeola "and band" on Sat. nite. That one may be an invite only deal, but worth checking out.
Keep in mind some of the events, especially Yamaha (I think the drum night is over tho) are hard to get tickets for.
As for getting in w/o a tix...it can be done. I posted a step by step last year how to that works well.
We had a get together on Sat two years ago. Sat was a good night for the most men to gather. I think it worked because a set time was given...and that needed several adjustments due to schedules ( I remember running across the street outside calling Joe's Mech and he was in the Valley while another guy was inside...crazy).
Hope it works...here's a posterity photo for motivation;
who are those masked men?
I think it's Loverboy 30 years later.
ps.... no "can I have a hug" requests for Vinnie this year.
Shedder?? You still out there?? LOL!!!
Once again I'm jealous of not being in the CA area [funny how it happens every year around this time ...]<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Ha ha LMAOOriginally posted by JoesMechanic:

I'm looking into my crystal ball right now. I see a girl. Yes.... that's it. A girl and she's with your kids. Yeah... and she seems to be playing with them and now feeding them dinner. Uh huh... yup!! And I see a newspaper on the coffee table. It's the same date as the NAMM show. I forsee a baby sitter in your near future my friend.
Will be there with Dave Karisony, my bud, and an awesome drummer.
Confirm the Weckl gig at Sabian. That should be hella-cool. Does anyone know if Zildjian is doing their "evening" again and who might be playing??
