    Hi, i had problem playing sixteen bass drum place in between eight note hi hat ( tendency to play them faster then sixteen note placed on eight note hi hat) so i created this simple exercise and played it Slow and he give me Great result, i guess that can help some here [img]tongue.gif[/img]

    Nice exercise! Precise placement of doubles on the kick can be a problem for many drummers who are trying to get their foot technique together.

    Thanks, Donu! That is a nice exercise. I came up with a similar idea to help myself understand beat displacement a la Vinnie's "I'm Tweaked."

    cool stuff donu!

    Whenever i tend to have any problems with this sort of stuff...i take the book syncopation...make my own ostinato..and find whichever subdivision im having trouble with and read the line with that limb....syncopation automatically covers most of the possible positions on the beat of the subdivision!

    I'll print this out though!
