All that's required to be a "good [or adequate] cowbellist" anymore these days is a quarter-note pulse...which should naturally be held [ingrained] by every accomplished "free-western-world"-born or raised muso...[but that ain't always necessarily so, is it...eh, well, i said " accomplished!"...]

[All that's required of every good muso on THIS particular thread is the ability to play a "Ba-DUM, TSSHH!"]

LOL! You're right, Mr. Grip, er, match, er, uh..can I just call you got a? I think perhaps he's overly concerned and concentrating primarily on the less important matters at hand, singing, sax part...believe me, sometimes I really have to "tune him out" or be inadvisedly influenced by his "beat of a diff drummer" offerings. Hmmm, I wonder what he's saying 'bout me over on his sax board?

LOL! Yet another SNL skit that's taken on a life of it's own. I can't wait for the movie. I'm seriously thinking of buying a "More Cowbell!" T-shirt for our saxophone player, a seriously challenged cowbellist.
