    This is a nice snare. I like the 14" aluminum dual strainer which I understand is un-available anymore.

    Didn't Weckl take that aluminium snare off the market cos he didn't like its sound? Who designs a snare and then says they dont like its sound? Seems a bit silly to me, lol.

    I think it was because the original snare he endorsed was seamless, then they reissued it with seams and he didn't approve and withdrew his endorsement.
