    For those of you who want to know the real deal on how we hold the Sticks, read the article called: GET A GRIP in the January 06 issue of Modern Drummer ! This article is written by one of the best drum industry journalists I know - T. Bruce Wittet (from Ottawa).

    Bruce has interviewed so many drum greats for this article and MD has photos of them along with a photo-spread of allof the possible grips !

    IMO, a must to read for all of us !

    How long does it take for that stuff to be put on their website? Sounds pretty interesting.

    I just read the article and it's great. I learned so much !
    And just found out that Bruce Wittet lives in my home town ! What an honour !

    Do not view a grip in limited terms of finger and wrist. Examine the complete set of motions required to make a stroke, starting from the lower back.

    Would have liked that thought 20 years ago!
