I were at the last Clapton Show here in Copenhagen, and of course it was a blast to finally witness Steve Gadd in a live situation with my own eyes! Don't know if i'm going this year though. I love Steve Jordan, But i'd rather see him with James Taylor TBH!
But at the last copenhagen show. TBH the whole band seemed to be so burned out. Nothing really musical happening - mostly pure routine, only great highlight was Billy Preston on the Hammond. Man that guy was mindboggling!
I loved the old late 80's early 90's band with Steve Ferrone on the Drums, Katie Kison (SP?) on Vocals. 24nights is one of the greatest live-recordings ever!

Yeah, maybe the old Steve Jordan...I don't know- he's gonna have to get his chops up for this one. I love his playing on the Blues Brothers stuff.

Com' on Guys !!!
You are talking about Steve Jordan !!!
He will do the job very well, like everything he does.
My opinion anyway.
I find Clapton boring anyway, but I will try to see this show in Parsi because Steve Jordan will be there.
Thanks for the update MP.
Peace.
