I own Steve Smith's "Drumset Technique/History of the US Beat" DVD and am a big fan of his drumming. I recently saw that his older videos put out by Warner Bros. were released on DVD. I'm sure they're good, but is it a repeat of information or are they worth buying?

They're definitely worth buying just for the band performances and solo segments alone.

They're definitely worth buying both for the old footage, since you can trace the changes in his playing from the old, hip, butt-end-of-the-stick style, to his present form. Plus, those hipster 80's Foster Grants he wears during his instructional tape are worth the price alone!

They're cheap and they have TONS of great drumistic stuff.
I love the old Vital Info stuff. He really used to nail the skins.
