<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Check out a Count Basie recording of Lil' Darlin'. That's the classic example of Basie drag time.

Jenifer Rush - The Power Of Love: Surely the slowest pop song to get to number 1 (in The UK)

Also check out Show Me, by Seal - one of my favourite grooves and slooooow.

You can find some very slow song in the James Taylor repertoir for sure.

Also with Toto, Jeff on drums of course.
"I won't Hold you Back" maybe...

Vinnie with Ricky Peterson, a beautiful song named "Lost In The Star"

    D'Angelo "How Does It Feel".

    Erskoman "Sweet Soul", amazing !!!

Hey Dazz, really you find "Show Me" slow ?
It's a king of reggae with a lot of note on the hh or ride cymbals...

It can be hard to play slow when you don't have a lot of note to play on the HH, it helps a lot to play a lot of note on the HH or on the ride cymbal.

I found "When a man loves a woman" really cool to play along... not because is that slow, but because Jeff played it so behind the beat that is great to understand how to do it right.

Steely Dans 'Third world man' is pretty slow.
I'm thinking porcaro on 'gaucho' too, or maybe it's faster than I remember.

I agree about lil darlin, that would be pretty hard. I think the guy pretty much keeps to 60bpm
all the way through. It's really impressive timekeeping.
