Hey everyone!

Ive have been blessed with the opertunity to travell to LA california between 11-16 of august or 17-23 (travel dates not 100% confirmed). What i was wondering is who is playing there during these times?

is novak playing anywhere?
jeff tain watts?
Vinnie playing anywhere?
steve bro- you giging?
all the greats who live there?
virgil donati?

I know of the catalina bar, baked potato, and ive just learned about the jazz bakery (it seems like everythings getting baked over there hahaha).

Any information on musical happenings during the period of the above mensioned dates would be extreamly helpful.

im a big fan of drumming and would even like to meet some of you guys down there.

Check out these site- outta keep you busy. It's all about the $$ in LA & NY. You could see good live music daily if you want to. Don't just lock into the 'big name' guys...you’d be very surprised at the level of talent around.

Thanks for the sites Pocket, thats great! Ive taken note of what you you say about the "bigname players" But those players i named are MY drumming hero's and it would really would be something unique to see them play in such a great place.

Having said that, does any body know of any good gigs they recomend during late august? Good venues?

...I know im going to the baked potato without doubt simply because of its history, no matter who's playing there...
