Not sure if you drummers are hip to Steve's board. I've going to his site evry now and again and I didn't know it was there. It's called da groove house and he answers specific drumming questions. he seems to be prompt and replies often from the road. It's very cool.

Yeah Rob's right! It's a great board. A lot like Anton Fig's board. You can ask detail questions either technical or whatever, and he answers you fully and usually within a few days. I feel like he should be charging me. The only problem with the board is that there are too many female fans talking about how hot he is rather than drumming. Still, it's like a free lesson from one of today's leading young session guys.

    Both of these drummers are
    great players.

It's nice to hear that they
    are open to their fans.

I like to think that HOD is
a place, where people get a
real idea of the drums and
    the many approaches that are
    taken, in playing them.

    We've got some really good
    people here.

ditto peter! I really think HOD rocks! As great as it is getting info from the source like Fig and Hass, it's even greater having all the great hobbiests and pros on here at your disposal. It's like an advisory board over here.
    Thanks

I really enjoy reading Hass' monthly columns...although he hasn't written one in quite a while...they're packed with lots of great info

Thanks for the post about Steve Hass?s forum

I appreciate every drummer-musician-artist who really have a close relationship (written) with his fans.
Simon Phillips also has a very interactive FAQs in his website. Really informative.

The Herbie Hancock DVD with Terri is excellent. One of the better discs out.
