I dont think anyone minds about link to sites etc. Its when it becomes a tedious process of registration and then searching the whole site to find what you were looking for. A direct dld link noone minds.

Plus its pretty sad when a board just becomes a place for everyone to post their link to their boards. Might as well just have one thread everyone put their weblink in it saying thats where you will find whatever they have now and in the future lol

I think most people are jack of it and have just stopped bothering..

I agree Kat, it gets emensely frustrating when an official board gets flooded with links to other boards in order to read information that could easily get posted in full on the official board. I dunno, I feel like that takes away alot of the legitimacy of an official board.. and the fun too.
