I took Higher *eek* - Edexcel.
I thought it was OK - but I thought non-calculator was pretty horrendous.

I can't remember which exam board we did maths with, so did you have the greenhouse question at the end?
where you had to find the volume of it?

YES - I hated that so much!!! I couldn't do all of it either - I could not remember for the life of me how to work out the volume of a pyramid. And then I saw that it was worth 7 marks, and all I could think was:
"crap"
That's already at least 7% I've missed out on! :S

i know! the paper was pretty much okay before that question.
did you attempt it? because you get marks for some working out thank god!
how the hell do you find the area of a pyramid??
the non-cal was terrible i agree. I revised S.Equations etc and they weren't on there

I did try, yeah... Don't know if it was right, but I tried!!! I think I might look up the area of a pyramid thing later in my revision guide - it's likely to drive me nuts otherwise.
So you mean simultaneous equations? If so, I know - one tiny question, that was all! So not fair... My teacher also did loads of stuff with us on sine, cosine and tan graphs too - and was there anything on that? Not a dicky bird... Oh well. These things happen I guess.
