(my own little word for the sound I make when I'm annoyed!)

Right, I know I'm only causing negativity but I'm willing to take my chances. I know we were all just joking around and being happy (like we so often are here!) at the end of Twizzles '*needs to vent* thread, but the thread, to start off, was quite depressing to me. The person who we were talking about can be a bit annoying (but she's funny, in fanfics and stuff) sometimes, but she means well. I don't think we should do stuff like that. I know we get annoyed sometimes and need to vent, yes, but I'm just afraid it might start to turn into the previous stuff (which I won't mention, seeing as it's gone). I won't leave or anything, I'm just a bit worried, that's all! It is very negative over on Sony nowdays, and I don't want to take the negativity over here. I hope you understand, and don't argue with me for this. If it DOES get out of hand, though, delete it. As long as everyone gets the message. You're right about the negativity but that person would try the patience of a saint [img]frown.gif[/img] She may well be a great fic writer but I'm bloody sick of seeing her religious themed posts plastered all over the BBS. If I was a Satanist (and there are those on there who think that I am LOL), I wouldn't dream of preaching my doctrine on there all of the time b/c I would respect that other members do not feel the same way.

I, therefore, expect the same sort of consideration from her and others who are likeminded!

That's ok that I have to put up with it, I read it and understand completely. I just don't want negativity on this board, because I want it to be a place where people enjoy coming to. It would make me feel better if nobody else replied so we could put this thread to rest. I just want to express my views on the topic, and I'm glad people understand that (*is about to start talking nonsense if she hasn't already so will stop talking now!)

I think we should try not to let the negativity of the BBS take over here. Its hard not to express our opinions when we are really annoyed and not coming off sounding negative or bitching.

Try to keep a positive attitude.

Personally I don't feel a discussion of religion or politics is going to be one that will ever work on the BBS. Pushing either on other people is only going to end up badly.
