i'm in an upcoming production of "run for your wife" and must use an english accent. it's okay, but i'd really like it to be perfect.

would anyone with a mic and yahoo be willing to spend some time on messenger with me so i can work on the accent?

if you're interested, please send me a pm with your yahoo id.

thanks

well I am scottish so no help here I am afraid.

What type of english accent are you looking for?

I mean there are so many regional accents, maybe you need to make it clearer the type you would like to use in the show. Or liken the accent you want to an actress.

Hope someone can help ya. and good luck in the show

london. i know that's quite vague, but my character lives in streatham. right now, it's kind of posh-london, but there are still some words i can't say. like cures. for some reason i sound like a retard when i say it with the accent.

unfortunately i have no mic, otherwise i would have helped you out!

i have been thinking about how to pronounce cures though-
'ures' say like 'yours'
and the 'c' at the beginning pronounce as a 'k'
so you have kyours....

hope that makes sense!
