Served a very jolly Lenny Henry today...had to wrap some books for him which were a present for his manager, or so he told me! At least he wasn't miserable like some of my customers today!

My mum had to stop her car at the traffic lights near Apex Corner, Mill Hill and who does she in the lane next to her? Meera Syal! Mum said she had a really ordinary car (a Datsun, I think), adding she wasn't impressed as someone of her status should have been driving a BMW at least. Come on! She must be raking it in with all her books, West End musical, TV series!

Big Brother/RI:SE' Kate Lawler at the screening of American Pie - The Wedding. It took a while to work out it was her as I didn't recognise her with clothes on. She's not as tall as I had imagined her to be, plus she was allowed to bring someone with her while the rest of us had to come on our own AND WE'RE THE HACKS - so what the fuck was she there for?!

Oh yes, she chews with her mouth open too.
