It's due out may 24. Anyone know of a traclk listing or what photos might be used?

Upon further investigation, I believe UM e stands for Universal Music Enterprises. We'll have to keep checking the Hip-O Records and Hip-O Select websites. Remember last year there was that premature announcement from Hip-O Select about a Runaways 3 disc box set.

If you couldn't tell I'm excited and have been feverishly searching for info on this release. Now I've found it mentioned on Pause & Play's site with a slightly different title and Mercury added to the label column.

I may have discovered the cover picture. Sorry for the poor quality.

It looks like a rare group photo of Joan, Cherie, Jackie, Lita and Sandy. I found it on a various artists sampler with new and yet to be released 20th Century Masters - The Millennium Collection: The Best Of discs.

These types of releases typically have between 10 and 12 songs. "Cherry Bomb" is sure to be on the new release and it was song #8 on the sampler. Many bands have been released on this format.

You're welcome. Another bit of news came in the mail today. The release is listed in the May 2005 ICE magazine [Alanis Morissette cover] on page 17. This time it says the release label is Chronicles.

This sampler has "Cherry Bomb" as track 8 and you'll get to see the cover picture of the upcoming Best Of The Runaways release due May 24th.

I don't think I've seen that cover picture published before. Anyone else familiar with it?

I purchased The Best Of Buddy Holly to get the FREE sampler CD. Buddy was missing from my music collection. If The Best Of The Runaways is patterned off of the Buddy Holly CD, there will be a four page fold out liner note booklet [8 pages total front & back] with more pictures, a write-up about the band and a song list. Buddy's has four extra pictures in the liner note booklet, plus another one in the tray under the disc itself. Now we need a track list!!!
