I wonder which tracks there would be...

    Cherry Bomb
    You Drive Me Wild
    Rock And Roll
    Blackmail
    Queens of Noise
Neon Angels on the Road to Ruin
    I Love Playin' With Fire
    Heartbeat
    Don't Go Away
    School Days
    Right Now
    Mama Weer All Crazee Now

that would be a cool collection

I see from the JoanJett.com message board that CD Universe has published a track listing. Rekko guessed half of the songs correctly.

    http://www.cduniverse.com/productinf...cart=243762654

    1. Cherry Bomb
    2. Blackmail
    3. Secrets
    4. I Love Playin' With Fire
    5. Born To Be Bad
    6. Take It Or Leave It
    7. Queens Of Noise
    8. You Drive Me Wild
    9. Neon Angels On The Road To Ruin
    10. Wasted
    11. Wait For Me
    12. Waitin' For The Night

It's not much different from The Best Of The Runaways CD released on Mercury in 1987. Two new tracks are "Secrets" and "Neon Angels." They left off "School Days," "Don't Go Away" and "C'mon."

This appears to be a Mercury release. That explains why you won't find songs off of And Now... The Runaways as it was released on Cherry Red and later on Rhino as Little Lost Girls.

This is disappointing. You'd think they'd at least include HEARTBEAT since it Bubbled Under the Hot 100 in Billboard.

This is the label website on the back of the new Best Of album released yesterday.
    http://www.universalchronicles.com/
So far they haven't updated the site to add the new Runaways album.

I went searching for the new album yesterday. I figured since Best Buy had this huge display of 20th Century Masters that they would have it. Not a chance. Strike one. Next stop Media Play. Strike two. My last chance was F.Y.E. They had come through for me on The Eyeliners No Apologies CD and I was hoping they would come through again. I got a hit. They had one copy!

Overall, I'm pleased with the packaging. It is patterned like the Buddy Holly disc I mentioned before. There's a new picture I've never seen before [Jackie, Joan, Sandy, Cherie & Lita] on the back side of the jewel case. The liner note booklet is a four page foldout [8 pages total front and back]. It includes Scott Schinder's [New York City, February 2005] three page overview of the band and three more pictures of the band. Vicki and Laurie are shown in two of the pics. The booklet also has one page of song credits. The songs are grouped together by album. Three songs were included from each of these albums: The Runaways, Queens Of Noise, Live In Japan and Waitin' For The Night. That's why this disc has a slightly different song list than the 1987 Best Of release. Underneath the disc itself is a tiny picture of the band performing in Japan.

It's a good compilation to introduce new fans to The Runaways.
