Just seeking your opinions on this.

I'll be honest. I don't even know anything about her music. I own one Runaways LP and I like it, but I'm not into them as much as you people are.
As far as her solo music, I can only name like two songs that her and the Blackhearts did. I have never even cared for her, to be honest.
The song I liked best was the Little Drummer Boy, which most people think sucked but I really liked it and can't find the **** thing anywhere.
Anyhoo, she's coming to Ashburn, VA in August and I've been to that little outdoor joint before (last summer to see Mickey Thomas' Starship).
**** , I think I'd spend 10 bucks to see Joan Jett. It would be for the drive up there, for the fellowship with others, and for the drive back when I stop at Roy ROgers burgers and eat burgers in the car as I drive down some backroads.
Plus, it would be an opportunity to maybe get into Joan Jett's music and become a fan.
What do you guys think? Have you seen her in the last 5 years and is she pretty good?
Is she hot these days for her age? Thanks in advance for your input!

Which Runaways LP do you own and what are your favortie tunes?

Since you've never seen Joan Jett and the Blackheart live, I'd say sure, go to the concert. You can't go wrong for 12 bucks. If you do hate the concert then you haven't wasted much money. These websites will help you catch up on the band:

http://www.joanjett.com/
http://www.blackheart.com/
http://www.purevolume.com/joanjett
http://www.liveatbelmont.com/concerts.php?id=26

I just saw the Blackhearts in May and the band sounded great. This is a typical setlist: Victim of Circumstance, Cherry Bomb, Light of Day, Do You Wanna Touch Me (Oh Yeah), Bad Reputation, Androgynous, Long Time, Riddle, Love Is Pain, Five, Naked, Love is All Around, A Hundred Feet Away, Roadrunner, Fetish, I Love Rock 'n' Roll, Crimson and Clover, I Hate Myself For Loving You, Real Wild Child and Everyday People. Two other songs that have been performed recently are Personality Crisis and Turn It Around.

BTW, "Little Drummer Boy" is one of my all time favorite Christmas songs. You can find it on the album I Love Rock 'n' Roll.

<font size="2" face="Arial,Helvetica">Thanks! I just own that one that has "I Love Playing With Fire"

I borrowed an LP once from someone and it had "Here Comes The Sun" .....I liked that one a lot.

As of now I've decided to go. I'll keep you all posted.

Looks like you own Queens Of Noise and borrowed Flaming Schoolgirls. Both albums feature Cherie's lead vocals more, but I'd still recommend seeing Joan Jett and the Blackhearts live. Please report back if you decide to go.

No doubt about it! I would grab this chance and go & see Joan 'live'! She hasn't played live in Holland since 1982, so consider yourself VERY VERY lucky!!!!

I love rock'n roll
