Hello!
I have been surfing and sufing trying to find a decent place for us to stay for the 9th. There will be 3 of us and we are looking for something close by, safe, and clean. Anyone have any suggestions? I love tripadvisor, but I'd like to get some suggestions first and then I will check them out on trip advisor.
Also, can we get tix in advance, or just at the door?
Thanks!
Sheri

From the research I did before I gave up and took an offer to sleep at a friend's, I heard many of the Hollywood hotels are a little notorious for being, shall we say, less than desirable. But some are apparently pretty good and not too out of reach, money-wise. I'll check on the tickets thing, and hopefully Danna or someone else in the area will have time to chime in on hotels soon. They're a bit busy right now but I'll drop a line.
The Days Inn Hollywood said it was booked up when I tried to book three straight nights that weekend. You might call and see if they've got one room for that one night, I know they're super close.

oh my - check out the reviews on tripadvisor. "Stay away from this dump" doesn't exactly appeal to me - ha ha. There are several negative ones. I'll find something!! Thanks!

I went on Hotwire.com and got a great hotel just off Sunset Strip. $129/night.
You don't know where you're staying until you pay but they listed it as 3-1/2 stars and it looks great in the photo's. I just requested West Hollywood. The room rates start at $89 and go up from there depending on where you want to stay
