I believe it was actually the other way around. Venus and the Razorblades was apparently another group he was promoting around he same time and the Runaways actually covered 2 of their songs. I had read when The Runaways were in need of a bassist (not sure which time), Dannielle Fay from Venus and the Razorblades was asked to join, but declined. And it seems I remember hearing (and this is nothing official) that Cherie was dating 'Venus' for a while. I may be getting him mixed up with 'Steven T.' -- h*ll , they may be the same person; I can't even remember who I was dating back then!!

    Question

Which versions of the songs were released first in 1977?

"All Right You Guys" was written by Danielle Faye/Bob Willingham and "I Wanna Be Where The Boys Are" was written by Kim Fowley/Ronnie Lee. I think (don't know for sure) both Danielle and Ronnie were in Venus and the Razorblades. I had also read that Danielle had been asked to be in The Runaways after Jackie left. I would still like to know which versions of the songs were released first, The Runaways' or The Razorblades'. At The Covers Project the "original" is the first release of the song even though the song may have been written by another band and later released by them.
