Looks like Born To Be Bad is getting another facelift. This time none of The Runaways appear on the cover. Does anyone know any more about this UK reissue like what label it is on? This is the fifth cover artwork design, if you count the 3 previous CD's and the 10" red vinyl.

Hi Wasted
According to a German mailorder-service this CD was (planned?) for release on 15th July 2004 by
label: Pid
Could not find anything at
labelsearch on the net
The order# might be : B0002EBFP8
Further searches were really confusing.
Different release dates (in 2004), a French label, a UK release and/or a release by a Label named 'Witness'. Obscure.

I could be wrong, but that doesn't look like Cherie on the cover to me. I ordered a copy and I'll report back when I get it.

Nothing exciting and new with the packaging of this Born To Be Bad reissue. The liner note booklet is only a bi-fold with Kim Fowley's same ramblings from 1991 that appeared in previous versions. I forgot how strange his comments were and they still go right over my head. There are just two tiny pictures of Joan, Sandy and Micki. No mention of the cover girl and I'm sticking by my original post. That's not Cherie. The cover girl is also on the disc itself.

The second and third CD reissues were the best because they at least prominently featured a band member for the cover artwork. And the third CD reissue with Joan on the front has Lisa Francher's Bomp article and a picture of the 3-piece Runaways Sept. 28, 1975 concert flyer for The Whisky A Go Go.

I haven't listend to it yet. The back says 2004 Editado Y Distribudo Por Blue Moon Producciones Discographicas P.O. Box 90155 Barcelona (Espana) Made in Spain. Strange that the place I bought it from says it is a UK import.
