I know that expession The Queen Of Rock has been used to describe Joan, but was that not just advertising by Blackheart? I believe the true Queen Of Rock title was given to Grace Slick of Jefferson Airplane to the best of my knowledge. Joan would be more the Queen Of Punkpop would she not? Wouldn't Pat Benatar be more The Queen Of Rock then Joan? Certainly Pat has had more hits. What about Deborah Harry who has had more #1's then Joan and was once the most photographed woman in the world. Anyway they are all Queens to me.

All of those ladies of rock are great in their own way but Joan Jett rocks like no other and is certainly the QUEEN of Rock!

Joan Jett rocks like no other? How does Joan's music compare to say Courtney Love or L7? Joan's music is almost pop by comparison, and with only one number one hit she is far from the Queen of anything except the Queen of CDs released with repeats of the same songs on them.
Any of the other ladies I mentioned in my previous post has more Queen of Rock qualities in their little finger then Joan will ever have, not to say I don't like Joan's music but her style is definately not rock anymore. Ask her yourself, Joan will tell you plays Punkpop.

Oh so it's better just to post mindless praises and poems? Speak for yourself, I enjoy the banter. Don't be such a crybaby Emily. There were some valid points in that discussion and I don't consider that fighting. There were no personal attacks. If you are not interested in the thread, simply don't read it. Nobody is forcing you.

Good attitude Wildcat. We understand that we are just agreeing to disagree, right? It's nothing personal at all. That's what differences of opinions are, just that. Have a great day!!!

That's the way I like to think of it too EPF.
It can be very disturbing when people get all uptight and lash out
just because you have a different opinion. It doesn't bring out the best in me, I'm afraid.
When people are basically nice they should be able to discuss things without any of that.
I always appreciate good conversation and agreeing to disagree is a very grown up thing to do.
You have a nice day too!
