Unsure as of yet. I have put the electronic image on hold for a while, to concentrate on some of my own work.

    Thanks for your interest.

    LESSON NO.1 PRESENTS:

    THAT FUCKING TANK
They were going to play at the Coachwhips show, but circumstances prevented it. This time you lot will finally get to see what a great pair of mathematical musical magician manglers That Fucking Tank are. Featuring members of awesome Leeds band Kill Yourself, they work with similar elements to that band ? precision rock power with a Shellac influence ? but keep their jamz purely instrumental, letting the drumkit and baritone guitar do the talking. We shall put an MP3 up shortly.

    GRABBA GRABBA TAPE
Tank forged a friendship with these two Spanish mentalists last year sometime. As a result of this, they now tour the UK. When you see them you will be f**king grateful. Two men dress up in furry suits and play keyboards, drums and vocoder. The result is like a thousand flickering strip lights burning your retinas, but fun and sexy. Tell your friends it sounds like ?Daft Punk meets Devo and Melt-Banana? ? they?ll like that. Now hear this:

    www.trunko.org/grabba2.mp3

    GINDRINKER
Described by Coachwhips? John Dwyer as ?the best band in Britain? (that he?d seen play), Gindrinker are the third of tonight?s duos. They combine caustic and surreal Northern wit with cheap drum machine beats and wincingly literal bass rhythms, plus a bit of improv cornet perhaps. Request the song about the wrestler.

ALL HAPPENING AT: Le Pub, Caxton Place, Newport
    Saturday 23 April
    7.30-11pm. FREE ENTRY!

    Stoke Malfunctions Presents

    Andy Robbins, Thoughtforms, Cooper Jones,
The Glebe, Stoke On Trent, March 3rd 2006
    Price ?4

Andy Robbins Stoke based singer/songwriter. one amazing 3" cd-r on 'firstperson' and lp to come on 'foxy digitalis'. has played with such luminaries as herman dune and kimya dawson and can be seen as a combination of the effortless melodic stoned cool of neil young, the drone infused meanderings of bert jansch, the psychedelic froth of the incredible string band and the motorik propulsion of neu!/kraftwerk et al..Backed up by Andy and Mikarla Jarvis (gtr, cello and flute) current members of Sculptress (cds on MEMOIRS OF AN AESTHETE and FOXY DIGITALIS) and duo in their own right (3" on frstprsn) and David Haywood, drummer extrordinaire with the angular jazz/rock juggenaut that is THE WOW............................................... .................................................. .........

Thoughtforms are from Bath, and make beautiful instrumental rock in the vain of mid period Sonic Youth. From a recent gig review... Thought Forms will probably initially draw some attention because of their unusual line up: Two girls/one guy. Two guitars/Drums (no bass). There's so much more. They're highly inventive, play with confidence and style and have no obvious direct influences (although an interested observer did mention Bardo Pond and Explosions in the Sky...) http://www.thought-forms.co.uk http://www.myspace.com/thoughtforms.
Cooper Jones are a noisy acoustic duo of Sophie Cooper and Kelly Jones. Instrumental Brash and different, they are from Stoke but resident in Manchester
    At the The Glebe
    35 Glebe Street, Stoke, ST4 1HG
    The cost is ?4.......................

Hi all, I'm new round these internet based parts - how you all doing? Just kind of accidentally stumbled across this forum. Is that the Cementimental of Pokemon in My Database? I picked up vol2 at No Trends in feb.

I should probably introduce myself anyway - I'm Rich, a friend of Stewart Keith's.

I've lived in Stoke all me life, but never knew about the Music Room or anything (despite it being only along the road from me) owt going on recently?
