Did he buy it used? I bought a used cd once and it had the wrong cd in it.

a friend of mine bought a MLM CD, looked alright (cover, cd-print, etc.), put it in his computer and it turned out to be the Mainliner CD.
anybody know anything about that, heard that before?
my guess is, that somebody made a pretty damn stupid mistake while trying to create a bootleg/selfmade MLM CD.

I seem to remember reading something about this a few of years ago when Timebomb re-released MLM. I think that it is a genuine release (not bootleg) that was truely mis-pressed at the Pressing Plant and some have got out.
Could turn out to be a true rarity like the copy of the first Damned album that has one side of a Eddie And The HotRods album or something like that.

he bought it used, but the CD in the CD case had the proper MLM printing on the printed side but the wrong music on the side with the digital layer.
so, what JGoaten said points into the direction that my friend was suggesting, respectively asking about, maybe somebody can confirm that rumor.
