Thought you old schoolers would appreciate this: I just got back from seeing G.B.H. for the first time since 1987 last night at the Brickhouse here in Phoenix, AZ....if you even remotely like the band, catch them if/when they roll through your area, you WON'T be disappointed! It was one of the two BEST shows I've seen roll through here all year (besides the Mike Ness solo tour, of course). The band was tight as hell, played songs mostly off of thier older catalog, and during a break in thier set, Colin announced that they've now signed on with Hellcat Records (Tim Armstrong's label) and will be releasing a new album next year. Before thier set, Colin and Jock hung out in the crowd signing stuff and posing for photos with people....they were both really nice, down to earth guys to talk to. Here's a rough setlist in no particular order:
No Survivors
Give Me Fire
Big Women
Gunned Down
Generals
Sick Boy
Am I Dead Yet?
Alcohol
Slit Your Own Throat
Diplomatic Immunity
Drugs Party In 526
Womb With A View
City Babys Revenge
I Feel Alright
I Am The Hunted
Time Bomb
White Riot (Clash cover)
There were a handful more, too (mostly newer stuff), but I can't recall the titles right now....still a little under the influence....if it comes to me, I'll post them.
