What's all this shit about the Oct. festival probably being canceled? I don't give a rat's ass about that city or all those people, but I DO expect a show that weekend, because I've made plans to fly there and I'll be damned if I'm gonna be stuck there with nothing to do except step around empty water bottles and other leftover looter shit. In fact, I think putting on the show ought to a higher priority than most things down there. Just see where they drain floodwater from first, then raze those houses (because the idiot homeowners aren't coming back anyway), put up a stage, and rock out all day. It would be extra fucking cool if parts of the city were still burning, as that would add to the badass atmosphere. I don't know if anyone has connections to Social D or the organizers of that concert, but those on the New Orleans end need to forget about "helping out" (cue the sad violin music here, boohooboohoo) and start concentrating on the show because I wanna rock out!!! This same crap happened around 9/11 and that whole thing totally ruined a trip I had planned to take to New York to see a show. Why does this stuff always happen to ME!!!

Okay ramrods, now that you're all red in the face and the veins in your neck are protruding and your pounding your keyboard and you're screaming "What an asshole!", um.....I'm kidding.
