Wait....Hold on a second? You mean to tell me they actually have music in Iowa?!?!? Jk. Im from Iowa...i wanted to go to the Des Moines show but could'nt since it wasn't on a weekend. I always thought it would be cool if social d played in clear lake at the serf ballroom (last place where buddy holly, big bopper, richie valens played before they died)

Glad to see that "That's Alright" is back in their setlist. This songs showcases that they can school the blues as well or BETTER than most rock and roll bands! BTW, "Reach For the Sky" is still a great tine...

Now that is a great set list. I've only seen them play When She Begins once live and i'm dying to hear it again.
I saw them opening night of their House of Blues stint back in '05 and they played That's Alright...that is probably one of my favorite songs to hear them play...besides anything off of SBHH.
One thing I wish they would change about their shows though, is Reach for the Sky. I probably stand alone on this one, but I'm getting a little tired of that song for some reason.
Hope you enjoyed the show!

Social D at the Surf would be a killer show! The show on 05/02/07 was at the Val Air and like the Surf, it has great acoustics.
I found a couple short clips of the show on youtube that have been posted by veronicab86. Check it out!
