But as far as im concerned i always had the idea that Mike Ness is the anti-christ! How can a true Christian play such music through which the message of Satan is delivered? Rock n Roll should be abandoned from this rotten society. IMHO Mike Ness and his disciples are true evil by keeping the message of satan alive....

And hey, what if he doesn't believe in God or whatsoever? Does that make him a lesser person? Does that make the music suck? I really don't give a damn about his religious background!

What is that that all 'fans' want to know all those private stuff from their idol? That kinda pisses me of somehow. Let the man live his life and just enjoy his awesome music. That should be enough..right?

By the way, does anyone know if Mike wears briefs or boxers?

I've always gotten the impression that the big portrait of Christ tattooed on his chest might suggest his spiritual leanings. But even for secular people, Jesus Christ can have a certain amount of symbolism without being a testament to a person's consideration of themselves being a "Christian"... but I've never met anyone who looks at things that way who had a giant tattoo of the man on themselves.

As far as the quotation from "Bad Luck" ("Ya tell them that there ain't God and they're better off standing alone"), the song is written from the viewpoint of someone during a completely self-pitying time, kind of the "everything sucks, the world is crashing down everywhere around me" attitude... which, I'm sure anyone can relate - no matter how immature the explanation might be, aside from personal views on the existence of anything "spiritual" in nature - to making the exclamation in various ways: "Everything sucks... there is no God". So, given the context of the song, I don't think the quotation says much about his exact personal beliefs.
