I catch alot of slack, for listenin' to some good 'ol Honky-Tonk, Rockabilly and Punk. I don't know many people that care for it and am constantly defending our style. I like what I like and hope everyone here will back me on that. I am the #1 Social D, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams Sr. & the III and so much more fan besides all of you. I just had to vent is all. I don't want to drown in a Mexican Society "Manic Hispanic"

    Thank you for your support!

Social D and MORE!!!!! HELL YEAH!!!

Let's not foget that the Mexican-American community never forgot the roots to rock and roll and rockabilly music like the British. Those older styles of music are really special to other two cultures which is one of the contributing factors as to why rockabilly and punk rock is so strong in SoCal along with the kustom car culture. I'm from San Antonio, Texas and am a white boy with a Mexican heart! Viva Social Distortion!!!!

Ha. Reminds me of when I was at school, the only guy there who liked punk/metal in a whoooooooole school full of trendy indie kids. It was cool to pretend to like whichever tight-trousered flavour-of-the-minute band was on the front of NME for that particular week. But I said bollocks to that and listened to Social D and American Head Charge.

You live in Riverside and are taking heat for all this? Sounds to me you are hanging out with the wrong crowd in the 909/951

Being true to yourself and accepting of others is cool. Having your own likes makes you an interesting person that people will want to get to know. Having friendships with people of other backgrounds and interests makes you a well rounded human being. Just saying!
