I seem to remember LesPaulPlayer tabbing out Maybelline for guitar a few months back. Anyone have it? Repost?

Also, has anyone with greater guitar skills/interest/time/attention to detail tabbed out Road Zombie?

Much appreciated.

Tuning: ? step down, capo on 2
Intro

E------------------------
B--------0-0h3-3---3
G---0---0-0h2-2---2b
D---0h2--------------
A--------------------
E----------------------

Then go right into a G chord after you let that bend ring out for a few seconds.

Chorus: G, C, G, D, G
Verse: G, use a palm muted power chord for this.

Solo:

E?33?33?33?33?33?33?33?33?33?666~--33?33--33
B?33?33?33?33?33?33?33?33?33?555~--33?33--33
G-----5b?5b---5b---5b---5b---5b---5b---5b-------------5b---5b---5b-
D-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
E--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

E----7---6--5--3---333-6p3----6p3----6p3----6p3----6p3----6p3----6p3----6p3----
B--------------------333-----6p3----6p3----6p3----6p3----6p3----6p3----6p3----6p3
G--/7--6--5--/4-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
D------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
E-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

E-------------------------------------
D?5br-5p3-----33---5br---3b---
G?5br-5p3-4---33---5br---3b--4
D-------------5----------------------5
A-------------------------------------
E-------------------------------------

Johnny?s lines during chorus (figure out which order he uses them in since I don?t feel like listening to the song again.)
E------3---3------8---8---3----3------10----10--------------3
B----------------------------------------------------5-3--------3
G---/4--/4------/9--/9--/4---/4-----/11---/11----5-3---3h4--
D-----------------------------------------------------------------
A-----------------------------------------------------------------
E-----------------------------------------------------------------
Ending:
E--------------------------
B---5b-5-3-5-3-5br-3--
G---5b-5-3-5-3-5br-3--
D------------------------5
A------------------------5 let ring?
E-------------------------

There's Maybelline for ya. Not note-for-note, but you can get the gist of it. I don't have the time, otherwise I'd do Road Zombie.

Road Zombie (Tune down 1/2 step, capo on 2)

Chords: A, Em, F#m

I play the progression a couple different ways:
1. A, Em, F#m, Em, F#m
or
2. A, G, Em, F#m, Em, F#m

I don't have the time to tab it out, but listen for the strum patterns, changes, etc.

Hope that helps!!

Standard Chuck Berry sound I love his double-stop bends! He's truely a great musician!

Thanks so much.

Gave 'em a quick test drive and seem pretty solid, as expected. Appreciate it.

No revelation but, I always had that thought in the back of mind of the similarities of Ness's and Berry's lead styles with the dbl stops and the associated bends, etc. Really adds another element to SD guitar pieces. Love it.

There truly is a Ness song writing success recipe: ~4 chords, hard luck/love/pain lyrics, smooth leads with bends, and kick ass melodies...
