HE was by the tour bus and he signed and took pictures with every body.
I've seen him like 4 or five times and was the first time he was so humble and mellow to his fans. Maybe was that the weather was awesome.
I saw him three years in Tabernacle and he woudn't allow photos because he was sick. and in New york he signe autographs quickly an went on a taxi.
Anyhow he made my night.
<font size="2" face="verdana, arial">In 2005 we drove the kids up to Austin (from Houston) to see Social Distortion. We waited after the show to meet him and he wasn't taking photos that night either. Broke my heart! My boys were only three and seven, so they don't even remember any of that night. Plus, I'm disabled, so taking a four hour, over night trip with two kids and a wheelchair was kind of a big deal.Originally posted by senomar:

I didn't get to stay after the show this time. My hubby had to get up early for work, plus he forgot to put my wheelchair in the trunk. So after standing for the whole set, I was ready to go home!
Thanks for the review & set list.. I am going to the Detroit show, and can't wait!!!
So did Derek actually play or not?
