the longer I listen to Springsteen the more he?s fascinating me, he?s for sure one of the greatest poets of modern times.

I think if you would put one Album above all the others then you wouldn?t do justice to them, but of course are there some must haves among his work

At first comes Nebraska to my mind, but also the Ghost of Tom Joad and the River.

And, IMO, pretty underrated, the Seeger Sessions. what makes this Album very special IMO is the feeling of pure joy the music seems to give to everyone of the more than 15 musicians who participated on that Album. That?s one of the few Albums which can make me feel kinda happy and free.

And, not to forget, the live version of If I should fall behind, still gives me goose bumps... here?s a great video of it

Where I always am, in good old Stuttgart. Been doing a lot of Songwriting for my new Album lately, which will be recorded in early 2009

By the way, on Feb. 07 I?ll play in D?sseldorf, in a club named Pitcher, maybe you know that one. There?ll be a Social Distortion Party that day, if you got nothing else to do, hope to see ya there

It is a small world indeed. Andy, the guy from the Pitcher came up to me and asked me if I've heard of you. And I told him, hey, I KNOW this guy (at least somehwat virtually, you know). And I've been thinking about booking you months ago, but somehow the gigs at the Pitcher became harder, louder and faster and I thought Andy wasn't up for some acoustic rocking anymore.

Alt is on tap and it's always cold

If you REALLY want to see a singer/band having a blast doing what they do, then watch this video Springsteen and the E Street Band play American Land, from the Seeger Sessions album. Please watch the entire video because at the end you can really see the excitement coming from bruce.

Thanks for all the responses guys.

I went to the local independent record store and picked up born in the usa, nebraska, magic (used) and darkness on the edge of town (used).

Out of all of them... i would say nebraska is by far my favorite..and probably one the best records ive bought in the past few years.

born in the usa i like, but its allot more "poppy" but glory days has always been one of my favorite songs.

Magice is pretty good, and darkness on the edge of town i need to listen to more, maybe it will grow on me.
