Just got it yesterday. Good album. More of a listen thru than track listening.

I just bought his new album too. I have his 1st 2 albums. I really like this new one, more of an "edge" to it. Went out and bought his 3rd album "straight to hell" about a week after buying his new one. I really like straight to hell the most out of all his albums.

Just got the new one as well. I like it more with each listen. Much heavier than the others. Straight to Hell is one of my favorite albums of the last ten years or so. Doubt I will like the new one as much but still worth getting.

I'm a big fan of Hank III and I just got the new cd. It is a good album but I'm still partial to the second album.

I fucking love it! Can't stop playing "Six Pack OF Beer"! That banjo intro is off the hook!

Just got back last night from working in Nashville and was on Broadway on Tuesday evening when I started talking to a bartender at The Wheel. He asked if I liked Hank3 and I said hell yeah. He then introduced me to his roommate which is the bass player in Hank3 as well as his banjo player (not sure he even had one). He mentioned playing the next night (Wednesday) at the Bluegrass Cafe across the street for free at 9pm. The bartender thought that was a better option than going to the Reverend Horton Heat instead.
The downside was I finished my work early and left yesterday to come home. I am truly saddened to have missed out.
The details are a bit foggy from all the Shiner Bocks I had drank, but a cool time none the less.
Anyone know if it really went down? Have not searched the web yet for info.

You met Joe Buck? He plays both stand up and electric bass with Hank3. He's been touring with the guy from Throw Rag so possible.

No definitely not Joe Buck. I even said that and the bartender corrected me quickly.
Was a bit buzzed so I did not even think to get their names.
Here is a YouTube clip with the guys I ran into, but from like October. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ljJufrfTGRg
I read that H3 used to and still does do Hank3 Wednesdays at Layla's Bluegrass Inn. The Bluegrass was owned by Joe Buck and his wife and they split and she took it over.
Strange.
