It's 12:00am so I was channel surfing and came across VH1 news, and they were talking about Johnny Cash's newest album American IV and his cover of Hurt by NIN. I remember this song, but never felt how amazing it was or the emotion involved until I watched the video for Cash's cover of it. I hope everyone else gets a chance watch this video or just listen to the song. I love Johnny Cash and the power of his voice. I would say the devil himself, but this song is more like a dark angel. Take it apon yourselves to listen to it, if it doesn't touch you I don't know what will. Hope you like it.
Take Care.

I really like it. Alot more than the NIN version actually. Too bad about the man in black's health.

For what it's worth, I highly suggest ANY of Cash's American Recordings series.

Yeah, I definately have to second KoF about that last one. Infact, I'd say check out all the Cash albums you can. And yeah, I like Cash's version of Hurt much more than NIN. It's just more heartfelt and sounds more experienced than Reznors. Thanks everyone for replying.

I just got a chance to see the video and it was very well done. It works perfectly with the song and strengthens the melancholy theme.

I think that 'hurt' is one of the best cover versions that mr. Cash has made.
