Anyone have anything to say about the Texas, AZ, and N.M. shows? Thought I'd be reading all sorts of updates and critiques and set lists and whatever. Any surprises? Is he rapping a lot between songs, or mostly just playing? Two weeks away from the two shows I'm seeing and I feel like assbag because I'm getting so antsy. Too old to still get so up for these guys, but goddamn, they're always GREAT!!!

<font size="2" face="verdana, arial">How many times have you seen them? I've seen Social D upwards of 25 times, and this was by far the worst. Minimal banter, and an uninspired crowd. Not Social D's fault as it was a radio show, and they followed The Used. They still rocked, but I was disappointed that they only played 3 songs off the new album, and again I imagine this is due to it being a radio show. I'm stoked for the Nov. 22nd show in Phoenix. Should be 10 times better.

Uninspired crowd? That sucks. They must have been mostly comps or something. Only time I've seen mellow crowds with Ness was when he toured solo. Hope things heat up as the tour moves on...watching idiots beat themselves up is half the fun.

Yeah, despite the somewhat shorter set list and only playing 3 new tunes it was still an amazing show. I totally disagree with the crowd comment, I was down near the stage and felt they were completely into it. I have been to 11 SD shows dating back to '90 and they have all been great - and yes I'm sure the Phx shows on Nov 22 & 23 will be better as they are not radio festivals.
