Hey Guys,
Well I've been lucky enough to catch Hass live 3 times now, And I love what I hear so I want to check out lots more Hass.
So far I only have his solo CD and I'm playing on buying Ravi Coltrane's Mad 6 and Matthew Parishes Circles.
What other cool recordings would you guys recommend to check Steve out on and also, Steve, Which recordings that you've done do you like so that I can buy them!
Thanks
Daniel

I highly recommend the Manhattan Vibes album, and George Colligan Live at Blues Alley, plus I just picked up "Ordinary Glory" by David Morgan which has some great tunes and groove drumming!

It depends on what type of music you want to hear.Seven Steps To Heaven off of Circlesby Matt Parish is some of the best drumming I have ever heard period. It's also one of the best versions of that song I have ever heard other than the 2 by Miles Davis.

I agree. Circles is a KILLING CD.
If you want another great album though where Hass sounds EXACTLY like Jim Keltner, get Deja Vu by Frank Vignola. Vinnie Cola is also on the album. Hass' cuts go for that 70s David Crosby sound. It's loose and organic. Sounds like it was recorded 30 years ago. Vinnie also plays his *** off, but in a Vinnie way.
