Jay, I'm not implying anything really, or
connoting something about you. I'm not
talking about anybody here, actually. My
last post is aimed at the people living
vicariously through 'cyberculture portals'
instead of actually using them to enhance
their social life. I don't really care, I
suppose, but Internet annoymity does strange
things to people's - not so such egos, but
their self-perception, cf. the chatroom
guy who killed himself online. I might
actually change my dissertation idea and
premise it on online cultures instead, but
I maybe I can't arsed with all the socio-
logical research.
I sometimes think the majority of swill
clogging up the Internet, are 3 o'clock
in the morning ideas, which normally die
a death in the daylight.

I had a couple of myspace sites, as it goes,
so I speak from experience. As I said a few
posts ago, I think it can be great social
tool.

Of course it can be a social tool, you just have to know how to use it properly. I'm only wondering about those who wish to move their internet squabbles from a certain site to myspace.
Markii, my usage of LA was merely an example, ergo, my mention of JJ as Huntington Beach is in the LA Metro area.

I'm social in real life as is.
Though I usually don't find myself around places where drunken I CAN DRINK MORE THAN YOU people hang. Just something I can't really be around with.
As for MySpace...
I've meet some great people on there as well as some great people here on glitzinet.
Made friends with some cool people, from other musicians...to just respectful people who have nothing to do with music. I Agree...you do have the ones that add ya on their list and you're there just as a number in their Look How Many People I Have On My List Popularity Game...But those are the people I delete after a while.
I look at it this way...If someone can not make friends online...then it shows how that person is in real life...either just not great to get along with or just a plain ole asshole to even get to know...haha.

Oh by the way...
I made this topic to get to know people who are on MySpace...to add as a friend.
I didnt' make this topic to get a description or opinion of what people think MySpace is.
If that was the case...surely the topic would of read "What Are Your Opinions About MySpace?"
