What's all this then?
Just been on Sludge and see rumours that Faster Pussycat have cancelled their UK tour.
Enuff Z'Nuff's website seems to back this up, saying that all European dates are off "because the other band pulled out".
Anybody else know anything about this?

Yes, it is cancelled!
Just talked to their booker in Norway and they've had some trouble getting the last few gigs in Europe booked so the tour is off for now.
They are working on coming back though, but will promote the album more first and make sure it's available and such
Just gotta keep ouir fingers crossed!

What a letdown. Very annoyed at this. Surely they had enuff dates to make this financially viable?

I don't know, Grant. What I heard is that their booker was working on 5 more shows for them that they needed for the budget and they couldn't get them booked so the tour is off.

Sounds a bit pathetic, where's the fighting spirit?
To quote one of their new songs 'Useless'.

Sounds like they either have a suckass booker or a suckass excuse for this one!
Let's just hope they make it back within reasonable time

FP have blown out tours here before, but that's usually cos its too cold. Can't use that excuse this time. Maybe the current situation regarding luggage restrictions, terrorist threats, etc. put them off.
I'm not too upset actually. I'll go get a refund and buy a Vain or White Lion ticket instead.

To be fair, I'm not so pissed off either. I've seen them three times already (twice at Hammersmith and once at the Underworld), and the last time they sucked BIG TIME! I gather they're back on form right now, but with so many great gigs going on right now, I could use the break (financially). Hopefully they'll be back in the new year, when I'm feeling a bit for flush
