How many Rag Dolls are there really?

Not members of one band, but bands with that name or similar names?

I know Dave Kusworth had a band called the Rag Dolls when he started out, but it seems like quite a few members of this board has also been in band with that name.... if it's not all the same band then.

Just thought I'd check, start listing:-)

Well there was the Welsh glamsters from Cardiff that had a relatively short-lived but successful run on the UK club scene. They were Rag Dolls 2. Then I think that there was a band called Raggy Dolls that came a couple of years later! That's all I know....

Wasn`t there one called Ragdoll from the Nottingham area? Seem to remember there was a guy in it called Jay??

I was in RAGGY DOLLZ....my first band, never really amounted to anything but a good, fun way to start.
I once got a phone call from the manager of the Rag Dolls form Wales, he started ranting on about his band being bigger than my band and we should change our name at once....i let him ramble on then answered his request with "FUCK OFF YOU WELSH TWAT" and hung up.

nothing against welsh people on the whole, but he did get up my nose a bit.
