Is anyone else having trouble downloading the D-Gen 1993 Demos? I get up to 18.1 meg downloaded and it cuts off every time. Is this happening to others?

<font size="4" face="Arial">That always used to happen with me when I tried downloading from yousendit with dial-up. I gave up in the end. Best off waiting till the broadband's sorted.

Misty Beethoven - No One Here Gets Out Alive

A band unlike any other. A vocalist with a voice that could set the night on fire with his voice and his blazing guitar work. A bassist thumping with pure sexuality, and a drummer that could drive masses wild with his amazing techinical skill and primal pounding.

Misty Beethoven were/are Chicago legends. A band so intense and so original that nobody knew exactly where to place them or what to make of them. They were too dangerous to sign to the major labels, but too good to be stuck on the indie scene...so they just tore their own paths.

The live shows were full of high energy antics and angst that no other band in the area could equal. At times the energy on stage would take away from the musicianship, after all it's hard to play the bass while you are throwing it across the stage to take out the vocalist as he leaps across the stage, landing on all fours and proceeding to throw the mic offstage and continuing to beat the hell out of the stage. The song would get a little lost. But then the band would pull it all back together almost as if on cue.

Misty faded away eventually. Leaving behind only an unfinished demo. Lacking mixing and the second guitar tracks. This was standard Misty, leaving things "unfinished".

Just recently though a tape has surfaced. On the tape are a guitar, bass and drum track...no vocals. These tracks are better quality than anything known to exist. Now, due to modern technology, the tape can possibly be finished. Vocalist/Guitarist Carl Isonhart is said to be getting ready to return to the ruins of Misty Beethoven to finally finish off a product.

Stay tuned people, things might finally be set right in the world

I grabbed myself a stereo mini to rca plug today. So I'll be working on dumping some ultra rarities over the next week. I found some ultra rare PBF (Canada) stuff you won't find anywhere. A demo from 1986 just before I joined the band and some other gems. I'll be posting after I finish putting together my label mailouts. My office looks like an assembly line!

I've finally got the Veins one after about 10 attempts. Managed to grab it now whilst at work. Stace don't think this is just a dail up thing - I'm on broadband at home & the best I got on the Veins was 85%.

Thanks to all the people who've posted stuff on this - some excellent stuff for sure . Am currently loving the Cartels. Bill do you have a front cover for the Material Issue stuff ya posted? Cheers
