Bags are not too practical if you're cycling though. You need a basket on the front, like something out of ET.

So Tesco are on the case. Good.

We've already covered the plausibility of Tesco's
a 'bag for life' concept. It's bollox, of course.
I'm sure the small print is littered with pre-
conditions and 'get out' clauses. LOL.

I haven't split one yet, so I haven't tried replacing it. If I do, I'll be sure to let you know.

To be honest, I'd rather spend another 10p than stand around filling out environmentally-friendly claim forms for a free bag.

When we returned from Paris on Jan 2nd, we drove
through London, and I noticed there existed little
Tesco Express shops there - sort of mini-Tescos.
That was a cool thing.

Yeah, there's a mini-Tesco or mini-Sainsbury springing up on every corner these days. Mainly to flog expensive sarnies to commuters, but a lot are open 24hrs. They come in handy if you've got the munchies after a heavy session.

I am snobbish, aren't I? I sound pompously snobbish
- or malevolently elitist, even - quite a lot of
the time. I don't mean to be, but there's so much
stupidity in the world, I find it difficult not to
be. You're not the minority, by the way, you're the
majority: most people who know me apparently
consider me to be unapproachably elitist, even
siblings.

I don't know what to do about this. Maybe I should
relocate to Mars? Failing that, myspace.com? LOL
