When I was four I had my Mom make me an 8-track of Elvis and The Beatles. Then I fell for the Monkees and she bought me the aforementioned Monkees album.
My first CD? The Dogs D'Amour "In The Dynamite Jet Saloon", though I didn't have a CD player until...I want to say...ya ready??? 1994!!! LOL!!! The Dogs was the first CD I got, and the last CD I stole from a store. Oops, did I say that???
My first tape: Guns n' Roses "Appetite for Destruction" at the tender age of 7.
My first CD: Britny Fox' "Boys in Heat"

I think it was the sound track from Grease. I'm really not 100 percent sure. I bought tons of 45's when I was a real little kid(yes,I'm dating myself here a bit) but albums...hmmm...had my parents buy em for me. Lets see pre teen..Grease,Sean Cassidy( do NOT laugh!) I think it was Van Halen and Ac/Dc that I spent my own money on as a younger teen.
HaHa...
Sorry Bill for the conusion.
