Who is the better singer for Iced Earth?

They are both great in their own way. They have very different voices. Ripper sometime has a hard time singing older IE songs, but on the other hand Matt could not reach as high notes as Ripper, atleast no to the same extent.

With the release of "Framing Armageddon" Ripper singing has improved greatly, at least that's my opinion. Before "FA" I wolud have said Matt without a doubt, but like I said, Ripper has grown, but to me Matt is THE voice of IE, since it was the "Matt-era" that got me hooked to the band, especially "Alive in Athens".

But as I metioned earlier, they are both great in their own way, and Ripper is a worthy replacement.
