And, hey, I've heard of the Innocence Mission. I don't recall hearing them, but I've seen the name enough times that it has stuck.

seems to me i met the innocence mission about ten years ago or something like that. i worked at a college radio station and this girl i knew was wild about them.

For my oh so modest post number 1000 I saved something truly hopelessly romantic!

I gave this poem to a red head who stole my heart for her birthday. Along with a rose quartz heart pendant. I put the pendant in a clear plastic box and the poem lined the sides of the box. *sigh*

Piece Of My Heart

Here's a piece of my heart,
Please treat it with care,
Nurture it and in time,
The rest will be there.

I give it with love,

To remind you of me,
Good times and laughs.

Love isn't always easy,
But this heart I share,

Due to the way I had done Piece of My Heart, I only recovered two verses of the poem. I had put it in verses around the box that I had given to my GF with the heart necklace in the box. But as I was driving home tonight the first verse, which had been missing popped into my head! *big smile* It was driving me nuts, so having it pop into my head was a relief!

So without further ado, the revised...

Piece of my Heart

Here?s a piece of my heart,
To wear on your chest,
Treat it with care,
And I will give you the rest.

Good times and laughs.

Hmmm, I think I wrote this four years ago...It was apart of my letting go process, a baby step actually.

Goodbye

I have to let you go now,
