Preparations

(Alright first IC post. This is really just for my character right now, unless someone wants to jump in and surprise him, and I suggest making a new topic for the action that's going on right now.)

Charon Thanatos arrived in Australia the day after he had been forced to change his Gundam. The transport sent him to Sydney, where his new Justice was having its color-scheme modified to match his new ship the Eternal Class Styx, a predominantly black scheme with absinthe, a sickly, glowing green, accents. It's arsenal was only slightly changed, as they replaced the original beam sabers with green ones to match the sceme.

Across town, Thanatos was being fit into his new uniform. The white uniform he had been wearing was only temporary, as a member of FAITH deserved his own custom uniform. He now wore a uniform to match his ship and his Gundam, black with absinthe trim, contrasting with the FAITH medal pinned on his collar. His flight suit kept to the same pattern, black with absinthe chest and shoulders.

And the final piece: an ebonic mask, made of obsidion and inlaid with a glowing green material. The eyeholes were lit behind the mask, not shining directly into his eyes, but so that his poisonous eyes could easily be seen.

Four hours after the fitting . . .

Charon Thanatos was deliberating with the local ZAFT leader. The man did not have as much respect as Charon would normally have demanded, and his composure was already spread rather thin from having to travel to Australia. The man seemed to have little concept of what FAITH meant, and our dear captain was about to "explain," when a Lieutenant came hurrying toward them.

"Sirs, we've just received word of an attack on ZAFT forces. It seems there is a Zeon ship, two freelancer ships, and an Earth Federation MS. No word yet on the exact number of Mobile Suits, but we suspect about a handful of Gundams."

What luck, Thanatos would be able to show the commander the meaning of FAITH with his second favorite source of anguish, humiliation. He immediately took over the situation, his FAITH medal, and his smile, gleaming.

"Lieutenant, I require two Elite pilots, and an escort to my Gundam. We must hurry."

The officer relayed the message into his radio and led the way to the garage. Before Thanatos left however, he gave the commander a grin that was visible from the uncovered bottom half of his face.

It took maybe five minutes to get to the mobile suit, switch to his flight suit, and get the thing running. As soon as he was ready, Thanatos contacted his partners in the mission.

"All right, everyone ready to go?"

They launched and made their way in the direction the distress call had come from.

"Who am I speaking to?"

<font color="red">"Lieutenant Memphis Truann, piloting the ZGMF-1017 GINN."</font>

<font color="cyan">"Lieutenant Daniel Jacobs, piloting the ZGMF-LRR704B GINN Long Range Reconnaisance."</font>

After that, they kept radio silence and hurried as fast as they could.
