COMPANY: iWorkwell, Inc.
iWorkwell, an Internet/New Media company, is building a diverse team of high talent, high energy, intelligent individuals who enjoy working in a fun, fast-moving environment. We are looking for people who like to think big -- but also have the skills to get the details right and actually make it happen.
We are located in downtown ("Center City") Philadelphia [home of the Y2K Republican Convention, and within a hotbed of VC and startup activity including Internet Capital Group, Safeguard Scientifics, VerticalNet, CDNOW and many, many others]. We will be opening a sister office in San Francisco/Silicon Valley in the future.
POSITION: 'Director of HR Knowledge'
We're looking for a hotshot expert-generalist in career development/HR management who will fully leverage the expertise and connections of our HR Council of Advisors. *We are NOT looking for a manager to help us with our own internal HR needs.*
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
* Work as an integral part of the team. (This includes: contributing to overall corporate strategy and involvement in all major business decisions; helping to determine optimum pricing packages; giving feedback from 'the field' and recommending ways to improve existing offerings; defining new business opportunities.)
* Work w/ our editors and writers to produce daily and weekly original content -- and to choose and source third-party content -- for website, TV show and Radio programs.
* Select or design career/HR tools, products, and services to be offered to our customers.
* Work w/ our biz development managers to identify and evaluate potential career/HR partnerships.
SKILL SETS/QUALIFICATIONS:
* Knows a lot about everything -- and is resourceful enough to find out whatever he/she doesn't know enough about -- to do w/ career development & HR management.
* At least 3 years experience in a general HR capacity at a small or medium size company (our target customer group).
* Reliable, thorough, energetic & hard-working.
* Fast-moving, operates in "Internet time."
* Entrepreneurial, innovative, creative.
* Strong pluses: Masters degree or MBA in HR, Law degree, employment law experience.
COMPENSATION:
A combination of cash salary, stock options, standard benefits, and incentive bonus (based on company and individual performance) will be offered that is market competitive for a startup company.
