Primary responsibilities involve actively selling client's products and services (i.e., local, long distance, paging, internet, voice mail products and PCS) in order to generate revenue and profitability for the company. Requirements for the position include the ability to call on businesses through direct cold calling and analyze client needs relative to telephone service and calling plans. Account Executives assume a consultative approach when making recommendations for telecommunication solutions. Additional responsibilities include the completion of associated paperwork, investigating and negotiating contractual agreements, and tracking daily sales activities. Representatives proactively meet and maintain identified monthly sales quotas.
