SE Works is holding an Information session, pre-screen interviews, reading and math assessments for Wacker Siltronic on
Monday February 2, 4:00 p.m. Saturday February 7, 9:00 a.m. Monday February 9 4:00 p.m.

Individuals need to come prepared to spend 2-3 hours at : SE Works 6927 SE Foster Rd

as each person will be given the assessments. They must pass the assessments at 70% or better. Those who pass the assessments will be interviewed by a SE Works staff member. Those candidates who pass the interview will be scheduled for an interview with the Wacker staff the following week. All interested individuals must call SE Works 772-2300 to reserve a space (space is limited to 60 people for each session) - They must arrive at the time stated above or before. Individuals who come after the scheduled time will be asked to come back to the next session since space is limited.

Each candidate must come prepared with a resume - both entry level and experience operators need a resume. They need to be able to talk about their attendance, problem solving, conflict resolution and communication skills. Flexibility in working day or night shift is required. They need to be able to pass a math test that includes fractions, decimals, percentages, etc. Candidates must be 18 years old. Able to read, write and understand English as all candidates must also pass a reading assessment. Please also have the candidates bring a photo ID and proof to work in the US.

Wacker is planning to hire 60 candidates over the next month through SE Works.

Please NOTE:
Individuals must be able to verify completion of education. This can be a copy of their GED/HS Diploma or College transcripts, degrees etc. The inability to verify education will not keep someone from getting a position. Verification of education completion will be asked for at the Interview with Wacker.

Job Descriptions
Production Operators $8.50-12.00/hr plus great benefits

Entry Level Operators - Must possess the skills and abilities to learn manufacturing issues and setups. These include equipment setups, process troubleshooting and general problem solving in daily manufacturing activities. Requires a high school diploma/GED with emphasis on basic math, reading and communications abilities and demonstrated professional work skills as evidenced by a minimum of one continuous year of successful work experience at a single employer. In addition the ability to stand 75% of a 12 hour work shift and
routinely lift up to 25 pounds. Effective verbal and written communication
skills.

These are 12 hour shifts - 2 days on 2 days off - for example a two week schedule would be:
