someone should write about the glory days of these companies before the internet destroyed all of them or atleast cut them to size.
CW have been under restructuring for a wild now. Anyone have a idea when, if ever, are they gonna open their online store again? I bought what I can on their clips4sale store but their catalog there is not complete.

I'm pretty certain the "restructuring" they speak of has nothing to do with the website - more than likely it's how many staff they need.
I feel, however, that they are missing the perfect opportunity to clean the older videos for remaster, at the very least, as well as update each product page.
I emailed them offering to pay for the hidden uncut classics and production videos of the best sexfights and they never responded... they may be done for to be honest.. maybe JM ROLEN should buy them out
That's really sad to hear. I really hope they start the store back up again at least. Or upload their FULL catalog on clips4sales. I have a couple that I still wanna get from them.
It's hard because there was a long time where CWC was the home of incredible hateful catfights, then they became the producers of the best sexfights videos ever filmed. But the stuff they were putting out at the end of their run was just ... not good, for either sexfight or catfight fans.
I am 1 million percent behind them coming back, but I so hope they get back the creative drive they had a long while back.

I sent a mail, not an email but a mail !, they never answer to it, never.
The good old CW is dead since years and it seems now they just try to make money on clips4sale and that is it. No answer to email/mail, no contact with fans, nothing.
I am still dreaming to buy "violent love unedited" (the uncut version, never sold on dvd or vod, only on VHS).
love the old CALIFORNIA WILDCATS videos. THE POWER AND THE GLORY is one of the greatest sexfight videos of all time. love the stuff putout by NAPALI too. the ones with storylines and weird editing. there is one called CATFIGHT DREAM which made great use of lighting to shoot a titfight.

agreed. their last few videos were simply dire. maybe its too expensive to get creative, these days.
The issue of CWC not replying to customers has been brought up years ago, so I don't think that would change, unless a management changes as it seemed to have happened with DWW. On the other front I have to address a sort of cognitive dissonance that easily gets passed around in America, built on the (false) premise, that free market equals democracy. The best thing about capitalism is that it only defines competition and accounts for greed being a natural human trait, so how money is being made, and how legal it gets depends on society's self care and not economic processes.
It is therefore completely within the rules to limit the needs of customers to the point they no longer need to compete as they own the market. As diversity is competition, the surefire way is to make men hate it (and it's actually very easy once you convince them it directly attacks their manhood). In the '70s, for a short and sweet 2 years thanks to sexual revolution, adult movies in America were mainstream as they were in Europe too, with a noteworthy cast and a plot. Then the Southern Strategy worked (and still does) and were Europe continued to produce sex comedies, the American industry got taken over by Italians first then in the late '90s by Russians. It's quite infamous how the producer of Columbus Circle and another movie about his own life (they were behind CCBill if anybody still recalls that to be a thing) allegedly embezzled to fund the movies.
The once separate catfight and bondage in the late '70s got "exported" into the regular porn industry. This is the point where I have to highlight the power of personal taste over consumer needs. It's not a nice thing to hear, but as it's a global thing... men aren't really asked what they desire. We get what's given to us by 60% of the budget being marketing selling it to us. When CWC in the era of dialup had smaller competition and a controllable costumer basis, they produced the stuff you mentioned, then came broadband, internet piracy, so they expanded sexfight to appeal to a broader audience who watch lesbian porn.
The downside of reducing competition manifests in lack of loyalty and the more similar they produce, the more will customers migrate from one place to the next. It's of course not up to me, but if it were, I'd downsize it to basics, and open a dialog as to what should be produced. For example, imagine Tilly McReese in a video where a different fighter plays her sister, who come home after their mother passed, and they have not spoken to each other in long years, have always competed for her love and approval and now only one of them is appointed sole heir. Heck, it could be that she was a Southern lingerie designer, so as they sort out what they both now have, conflicts bubble up to the surface. CWC was relatable, that lifted them up from others is what I'm trying to say.
